Thousand Islands Region The northeastern basin of Lake Ontario from Henderson Harbor to the mouth of the St. Lawrence River. Largemouth bass are found in the shallow bays in around the numerous islands. Smallmouth bass are generally found in the deeper Shoals and humps in the current.
